The Clot x Sacai x Nike LDWaffle “Net Orange Blaze” is a three-way collaboration between Edison Chen's streetwear brand Clot, Chitose Abe's high fashion line and Nike on the hybrid shoe. The “Net Orange Blaze,” a Fall 2021 release, marries Clot and Sacai for a version of the shoe that combines Nike’s LDV and Waffle Racer styles. The “Net Orange Blaze” colorway takes cues from Clot’s Nike Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death” for design inspiration, namely that shoe’s maroon, orange and beige color scheme. The upper features a translucent base contrasted with Beige suede overlays and layered Blaze leather Swoosh logos in Deep Red and Net Orange. Two sets of beige and orange laces appear above the Blaze nylon tongues in Deep Red and Net Orange. “Nike Sportswear” with an orange Swoosh appears on the green nylon tongue label of the top layer tongue, while Nike, Sacai and Clot logos are found on the tongue label of the underlay tongue. Additional co-branding adorns the heel. Underfoot, an orange elongated midsole with a rubber outsole completes the look.
