DESCRIPTION

The Kaws x Sacai x Nike Blazer Low “Purple Dusk” is a three-way collaboration between the Brooklyn-based artist, the high fashion brand and Nike on the retro basketball shoe. The “Purple Dusk,” a December 2021 release, is one of several colorways of the Blazer Low co-created by Kaws and Sacai for Fall 2021. Sacai and Nike have collaborated with Fragment and Undercover on various shoes in 2021, in addition to several forays with Kaws on the Blazer. The upper consists of a Purple leather base with layered Light Blue and Purple Swooshes on the sides. A gray suede panel is placed over a red leather overlay on the eyelets. Dual purple and white laces sit atop the dual foam-padded nylon tongue in purple dusk and cream with two white “Sacai” and “Nike” branding logos on each tongue label. Four stacked white rubber panels extend from the midsole to cover the lower portion of the heel. Kaws' signature "XX" motif is cast on the midsole.
