The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Puerto Rico” is a colorway from the early 2000s that shows love for the Caribbean island. Nike re-released the “Puerto Rico” makeup of the low-top shoe in June 2020 to much fanfare and excitement. One of the aughts' most coveted Air Force 1s, the "Puerto Rico" shown here features several true-to-original style points, including an embroidered Puerto Rican flag on the heel and a printed flag motif on the tongue label. White leather forms the base of the upper and is found on the perforated toe and tonal Swoosh branding on both sides of the shoe. The navy leather heel tab features contrasting red “Nike Air” embroidery, a look that references the colors of the Puerto Rican flag. A blue liner, white leather tongue and blue “Air” branding on the heel of the midsole complete the look of the new edition of the Air Force 1 Low “Puerto Rico”.
