The Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle “Sail” is a collaboration between Chitose Abe's high-fashion brand and Nike on a casual lifestyle shoe that combines elements of Nike's VaporFly and Pegasus styles. The “Sail” edition of the VaporWaffle is one of several releases Sacai and Nike are unveiling in 2021, and one of the pair’s most versatile designs to date. The base of the upper is made of lightweight white nylon. Sail suede and leather overlays also appear on the upper. In true Sacai and Nike fashion, the “Sail” adopts a “dual” aesthetic that finds two Swooshes, two tongues and laces, and a stacked foam midsole in an avant-garde style. Dual Sacai and Nike branding appears on the heel and classic "Nike Sportswear" and Swoosh branding appears on both nylon tongue labels.
