The Union x Air Jordan 2 “Grey Fog” is one of two colorways of Michael Jordan’s second signature shoe designed by Chris Gibbs and the Los Angeles-based fashion boutique. Union's collaboration with Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 2 honors the heritage of the vintage basketball shoe with retro-modern design modifications that evolve its timeless look. Released alongside the “Rattan” colorway, Union’s “Grey Fog” Jordan 2 comes complete with a light gray nylon and suede upper. Light blue piping along the upper is reminiscent of the blue accents found on Carmelo Anthony's former Player Exclusive Air Jordan 2 colorway, which released at retail in 2004 and 2019. Under the blue eyelets there is a yellow nylon label with the branding “UNION LA”. the lateral side of the shoe. Additional branding appears in the form of a retro-style “Union” identification tag on the collar and red Jumpman and “Union LA” branding on the tongue. Cream-colored laces give the shoe a vintage look.
