The Off-White x Air Jordan 2 “Black/Blue” is one of two colorways of the November 2021 collaboration between Virgil Abloh's streetwear and high fashion brand and Jordan on Michael Jordan's second signature shoe. A launch colorway of the first-ever Air Jordan 2 co-designed by Off-White, the "Black/Blue" version of the vintage model is reminiscent of a pair of worn vintage Jordan 2s, perhaps a pair worn by Michael himself became. with its aged details. In Off-White's signature deconstructed retro ethos, the Jordan 2 features a faux-crumped foam midsole to mimic the look of a vintage shoe. The upper is made of high-quality black leather. Michael Jordan's signature appears on the side of the shoe. Jordan's signature is also found on the collar of the shoe's "Chicago" colorway. The signatures in two different places on two different shoes are intended to simulate the idea that Michael would likely have signed each game-worn pair in a different place. Off-White's Helvetica branding appears on the medial side and a gold zipper appears on the left shoe.
