DESCRIPTION

The South Park x adidas Campus 80s “Towelie” is a whimsical collaboration between the animated television series and adidas that honors the 4/20 holiday. Released by adidas in April 2021, Campus' '80s South Park "Towelie" honors the show's ever-on-fire talking towel character. The design mimics the look of Towelie as adidas wraps the entire upper in a hairy bluish-purple synthetic terry material. White leather three-stripe branding on both sides is true to the original '80s campus design. The Adidas logo in a South Park-inspired font is printed on the white leather heel tab. The two eyes on the tongue have been treated with a UV-sensitive finish so that when exposed to sunlight they turn a bloodshot red, like Towelie's eyes after smoking marijuana. The South Park x adidas Campus 80s “Towelie” was one of the most coveted 4/20 sneaker releases of 2021.
