The Air Jordan 1 Low “UNC” is a college basketball colorway of the low-top edition of Michael Jordan's first signature shoe. An original colorway of Nike's 1985 Air Jordan 1, the "UNC" theme references the white and blue team colors of the North Carolina Tar Heels, Michael's alma mater. While many “UNC”-inspired Air Jordans feature University Blue accents, the Jordan 1 Low shown here opts for Powder Blue details. The Powder Blue shade appeared back in 1993 on the original Air Jordan 9 “Powder Blue” and in 1994 on the Air Jordan 10 with the same nickname. This shoe features white leather on the perforated toe and center. Contrasting powder blue overlays appear on the forefoot, eyelets, collar and heel. An Obsidian (dark blue) leather Swoosh with subtle powder blue contrast stitching adorns both sides, and a "Wings" logo is embroidered on the heel. A blue Jumpman appears on the dark blue nylon tongue and tonal “23” branding is found on the black lace overlay.
