The Union x Air Jordan 4 “Guava Ice” is one of Jordan Brand’s most coveted collaborations of Summer 2020. Union, a streetwear, fashion and lifestyle boutique in Los Angeles, renewed their partnership with Jordan Brand following their monumental Air Jordan 1 -2018 collaboration on two Jordan 4 colorways with a unique new construction. Starting with the “Guava Ice” color scheme, the upper features a vintage-inspired yellow mesh on the medial panel and tongue. A sand-colored brushed suede base appears on the mudguard, toe cap and eyelets. White and red technical mesh details dot the toes and collar respectively. Pink plastic lace accent clips and a translucent lace support clip add to the eccentric appeal of this shoe. A blue plastic heel clip with contrasting red “Nike Air” adds a classic touch to the decidedly modern look. The aforementioned shortened tongue is actually folded over and stitched to Union owner Chris Gibbs' specifications. The wearer can remove the stitching for a traditional Air Jordan 4 look.
